Charcoal tools
CHARCOAL TOOLS |
- Blending stump
- Paper towel
- Compressed Charcoal pencil
- Vine Charcoal sticks
- Kneaded Eraser
- Eraser Pencil
- Gum Eraser
There is nothing like you need to use all the tools while doing the sketch it depends on you carry your form or style of sketching and make the best utilization of what you have. Charcoal sketching is a bit risky Because the tools used are too delicate, charcoal sticks are very soft and lightweight a little force may break the stick or turn into powder. Use other blending pencils for various shading
techniques.
Charcoal
sketching is a type of art which includes more detailing to be done. It takes
more time to add on the layers and create it naturally. Sketching through
charcoal pencil cannot be done in one attempt. It is the type of sketching
where more layers are to be added on various parts of the page because once
done with charcoal cannot be completely erased that's the reason it's
time-consuming.
So different types of tools are to be used while sketching. Charcoal sketching is like how you move your finger and smudge using your hand and other tools, to get the lightest shade or the darkest shade. Smudge the charcoal all
over the page, smudging on paper makes the sketch more effective. All the above tools help in to do so. Sketching with charcoal is
a lot of fun because it’s so freeing to make big, sweeping movements across
your paper whilst getting messy. It may seem like it's
boring, but when learning something new sometimes it really is the only way.
And every picture drawn is a new picture.
